Representing a buyer at a Mayo Auction and Realty real estate auction is easy and fun.
Step 1 - Call the office to schedule a showing of the property like you would any other real estate listing.
Step 2 -If your buyer is interested in participating in the auction, download the Broker Participation Form from our website, fill it out and have your buyer sign the form and submit it to our office prior to the auction.
Step 3 -Help your buyer register for the auction. If it is an online only auction, registration is done online via our website. Your client will create an account and submit a buyer registration form. They will receive a call from the office to confirm their registration, and be able to submit their bid afterwards. If the auction is a live on-site auction, registration will be done at the property or auction location on the day of the auction.
Step 4 -Represent your buyer like you would with any other property. Show them comparables and help them with any questions they might have regarding documents or disclosures.
Step 5 -Accompany them to sign and execute the contract after they are declared the winning bidder.
Step 6 -Get paid your commission at closing.
If you ever need help getting a client registered or finding the appropriate forms, please feel free to call our office for assistance.
